Ingredients

  • 250 grams Boneless Chicken Breast Cut into small cubes
  • 50 grams Mozzarella Cheese Freshly shredded for the best cheese pull
  • 3 tablespoons Full-Fat Mayonnaise
  • 1 small Yellow Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Fresh Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking Oil or Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt and Black Pepper To taste

Equipment

  • Frying Pan or Skillet
  • Pan Lid or Cover
  • Cutting board + knife

Method

Instruction 1:
  1. Heat the cooking oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Instruction 2:
  1. Add the cubed chicken breast to the pan. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir-fry for 5 to 6 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and develops a light golden crust.
Instruction 3:
  1. Turn the heat down to the absolute lowest setting. Add the mayonnaise and finely chopped onions directly into the pan. Stir vigorously to coat the chicken and create a creamy base.
Instruction 4:
  1. Spread the chicken mixture evenly across the pan and generously top it with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Instruction 5:
  1. Immediately cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid. Let it steam on ultra-low heat for 60 to 90 seconds until the cheese is beautifully melted and bubbling. Remove the lid and serve immediately right from the pan!

Notes

For the ultimate viral cheese pull, always grate a fresh block of mozzarella instead of using pre-packaged shredded cheese, as the anti-caking agents in pre-shredded cheese can ruin the melt. Make sure not to overcook the chicken in the frying stage, as it will continue to cook slightly during the 1-minute lid-steaming process!
