Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, cut into pieces
  • 1 inch piece ginger root, sliced
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • ½ lime or lemon, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)

  • 1 Knife & Cutting Board
  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 Teacup or Mug

Method
 

  1. Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add lemongrass, sliced ginger, and cinnamon stick.
  3. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and add fresh lime or lemon slices.
  5. Strain into a teacup or mug.
  6. Sweeten with honey if desired. Serve warm or chilled.

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, simmer an additional 5 minutes.
  • Can be served hot or iced.
  • Drink daily to support digestion and metabolism.
  • For variation, add fresh mint leaves or substitute lime with orange slices.
