Method
- Rinse the apple peels thoroughly to remove any dirt or residue.
- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the apple peels and cinnamon stick (if using).
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain into mugs.
- Add lemon juice and honey (if desired) before serving warm.
Notes
- Use organic apples to avoid pesticides in the peels.
- Can be served chilled as a refreshing detox drink.
