- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Slowly add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
- Roll dough into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and place on a parchment-lined baking tray.
- Gently flatten each ball with a fork for a criss-cross design or a glass bottom for smooth tops.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the tray for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- For softer cookies, bake on the shorter side (10 minutes).
